FACE MASKS
​
Masks are a necessity. If a student can not wear a mask for health reasons, Cedar's Academy also offers face shields.
​
Students will wear masks at all times, even when applying makeup or sitting as a student model. Masks will remain on for eye and brow makeup, then removed when foundation needs to be applied with a no-contact airbrush. The model will put mask back on upon completion.
SOCIAL DISTANCE LEARNING​
​
Makeup stations and desks have been positioned 9 feet apart. One student and one model per station, and both will be required to wear masks.

Makeup demonstrations will also adhere to social distancing practices. Students will be required to stand 6 feet apart from each other and the instructor. Everyone will be required to wear a face mask, or face shield.
AIRBRUSH MAKEUP
​
Students will learn and utilize airbrush makeup techniques earlier in the program. Applying foundation with an airbrush being the most important. This will be the primary way of applying foundation makeup throughout most of the program; a brush application technique for foundation makeup will be taught later in the program.
TEMP CHECKS & SANITATION
​
There is no such thing as too much cleaning. Sanitation is already integrated into the makeup certification program so students will adhere to these strict guidelines throughout the program. Our Makeup Artists always practice CLEAN artistry.
Before entering class, temperature checks will also be taken at the door along with the student's name and phone number to assist with tracing protocols.
